Q: Some people have mentioned that the faceplate design of our Cantor resembles that of Canpur. Did you take inspiration from them during the design process?
A: Cantor incorporates a lot of new technologies, and to reflect its innovative spirit, the AFUL design team created a custom font specifically for Cantor. The font has a futuristic feel with its slanted and sharp-edged style, and each letter has been uniquely crafted. We have also secured copyright protection for this exclusive font design. We hope you enjoy it!

Q: The Cantor’s nozzle looks quite long—will it affect comfort?
A: The Cantor is actually smaller in size compared to most multi-driver IEMs on the market, with an overall height of only 27.15mm. The longer nozzle is designed to fit snugly against the inner wall of the ear tip without extending further into the ear canal, so it should not cause any discomfort. In fact, this design enhances acoustic performance, delivering superior resolution and clarity.

Name:-

AFUL stands for "At Full," signifying perfection, completeness, and the pursuit of excellence. In Chinese, it translates to "致音," representing the ultimate in sound quality and reverence. "致" conveys meanings of respect, focus, achievement, precision, and refinement, highlighting AFUL's dedication to achieving perfect sound.

Story:-

2018:

The journey began with a dedicated acoustic team that focused on developing cutting-edge acoustic technology. High-quality 3D printing and acoustic testing equipment were acquired and a unique acoustic lab was built.

2019:

A breakthrough was achieved with the first engineering prototypes that featured a novel circuit topology and acoustic structure. This enabled a single BA driver to deliver stunning HiFi performance.

2020:

The technology was refined and the second generation of circuit topology and acoustic structure was developed. Three technology patents were secured for the innovations.

2021:

The technology was commercialized and new applications were explored. The original S&E Math technology was recognized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and selected for the “China-Denmark Technology Exchange Roadshow” to showcase the technological prowess to Denmark.

2022:

The Performer series earphones were successfully launched worldwide, receiving rave reviews from customers and critics alike. The S&E-Math technology also won government funding from the Suzhou Municipal Government’s “Leading Talent Award”.

2023:

The latest masterpiece: the 1DD+7BA Performer 8. Single-balanced armature driver IEMs based on S&E-math technology.

Technology Introduction:-

Dual Channel Acoustic Maze Technology-Deep Elastic Bass:-

The Cantor features two advanced composite drivers: one for ultra-low frequencies (10-100Hz) with an ultra-thin, extended sound tube, and another for powerful bass. Precision-tuned acoustic tubes enhance depth, power, and clarity, transforming low-frequency performance with superior elasticity and bass depth. High-Precision 3D Printed Acoustic Tube Structure

The first technology is the acoustic crossover tube. It uses physical frequency division to adjust the sound frequency response of the pair. It has been fine-tuned and optimized to harmonize the sound waves from different tubes. This eliminates the peaks caused by the resonance of the unit under traditional frequency division technology.

Non-Destructive Direct Drive Topology Technology:-

The Non-Destructive Direct Drive Topology Technology in the AFUL Cantor earphones enhances sound clarity by eliminating resonance through an asymmetrical sound path, delivering extended, smooth highs. This advanced approach surpasses traditional damping methods, preserving high-frequency detail without harshness.

Multidimensional Frequency Division Architecture Technology:-

The AFUL Cantor's Multidimensional Frequency Division Architecture efficiently integrates 14 BA drivers, each with a specific function, to deliver a cohesive soundstage with smooth frequency transitions and an immersive, balanced audio experience.

High-Precision 3D-Printed Acoustic Tube:-

The Cantor earphones utilize high-precision 3D printing technology to create acoustic components with ultra-fine pathways as narrow as 0.15mm, pushing the limits of 3D printing capabilities. This precision enhances audio performance, providing bass with unparalleled depth and clarity.

RLC Network Frequency Division Correction Technology

It can directly act on the sound frequency response of the pair and helps in overcoming peaks caused by the resonance of the unit under traditional frequency division technology. It also gives the balanced armature drivers a smooth treble frequency response that rivals an EST unit.
