The “S stands for more than a sequel here in Performer 8S. It stands for a Shift in technology and a Symphony of innovation. As mentioned previously, the Performer 8S features a multi-driver quad-brid setup on each side. It houses 9 drivers per side featuring 1 dynamic driver, 6 high-performance balanced armature drivers, 1 micro planar driver, and one adjustable passive radiator technology.
True high-fidelity sound requires perfect timing and a perfectly implemented crossover system. For this, we have featured our ultra-precise RLC network frequency crossover correction technology combined with the newly developed RESInator technology. RESInator technology utilizes high-precision 3D printed channels to correct driver behaviour. They feature specially curated micro-resonators promising a highly coherent and natural sound with the Performer 8S.
More than just hearing, our team believes innovation should also be felt. The P8S introduces a brand new Adjustable Passive Radiator system. Users can adjust between Open and Closed modes; both modes adjust the bass performance of the pair. If you prefer a tight, punchy bass response, Closed mode is better for you, and if you would like a deeper, open, and dynamic bass response, the Open mode would suit your style.
